Obituary
Willie Mae Throop, 83, of Indianapolis, IN passed away Monday, May 9, 2022. The Westmoreland, TN native was a former hostess for Bob Evans for 24 years, a member of Mars View Christian Church and enjoyed ceramics and sewing. She was a daughter of the late Burton Bluford Shaw and Mary Huntsman Shaw.
She is survived by her husband: James Allen Throop, Indianapolis, IN;
2 sons: Mark Throop (Lynne), Indiananpolis, IN and Steve Throop (Sherry), Bloomfield, IN;
4 grandchildren: Josh, Adam, Daniel and Leah;
3 great grandchildren: Lincoln, Carter and Caleb;
She was preceded in death by 1 great grandchild: Emily and 1 sister: Vera Meador.
Graveside services will be 12:00 Noon Wednesday at Maple Grove Cemetery with Rev. Mike England officiating. Visitation will be 9:30 A.M. to 11:30 A.M. Wednesday at Goad Funeral Home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Alzheimer's Association. Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
