Willie Veachel Graves, 102, of the Midway Community, passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at Cal Turner Rehab & Specialty Care. The Scottsville, KY native was a homemaker and attended Walker's Chapel United Methodist Church and Beech Grove General Baptist Church. She was a daughter of the late Willie Kerr Hinton and Myrtie Marie Calvert Hinton and wife of the late Hairl Lee Graves.
She is survived by 2 sons: Eutra Leon Graves and wife, Virginia, Midway Community and Kelly A Graves and wife, Hattie, Franklin, KY;
2 daughters: Theresa Calvert, Gallatin, TN and Sherry Wimpee and husband, Larry, Midway Community;
10 grandchildren: Donnie Graves; David Graves (Brenda); Kelly G Graves; Lana Huff (Nathan);Stephanie Silvano; Annette Gregory; Jackie Martin; Victoria Jackson (James); Walton Wimpee (Sheena); Becky Stubbs (Brandon);
17 great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Gary Pardue and Bro. David Graves officiating and burial in Greenlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday and after 11:00 A.M. until funeral time Thursday at Goad Funeral Home. According to the Kentucky Funeral Directors Association, social distancing and face coverings are recommended and no PUBLIC lounge is available.
