Willie Carline Cook, Jr., 84, of Scottsville, KY passed away Monday, December 2, 2024 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green. The Holland, KY native was a farmer, retired employee of Scotscraft, a 1958 graduate of Allen County High School, a U.S. Army veteran and member of Maple Grove General Baptist Church. He was a son of the late Willie Carline Cook, Sr. and Wavie Lena Willoughby Cook.
He is survived by his wife: Winnie Carter Cook, Scottsville, KY;
3 sons: Rick Cook (Sherri), Ron Cook (Kelley) and Greg Cook (Melinda), all of Scottsville, KY;
5 grandchildren: Matthew Cook, Austin Cook, Macenzie Cook, Baylea Cook and Seth Cook
Several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by 1 grandson: Ian-Michael Cook; 2 brothers: Larry Carlston Cook and Thomas Andrew Cook.
Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Johnathan Marsh and Bro. Lawrence Gilliam officiating and burial in Maple Grove Cemetery with military honors by Glasgow D.A.V. Chapter 20. Visitation will be 3:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Friday and after 7:00 A.M. Saturday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Gideons. Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
