William C Smith

William C Smith, 81, of Scottsville, KY passed away Saturday, September 25, 2021 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green.  The Halfway, KY native was a retired employee of Eaton Manufacturing and the Allen County School System and a farmer.  He was a son of the late Lawrence Carmen Smith and Edith Howard Smith. 

He is survived by 1 son:  Clint Smith and wife, Beth,  of the New Roe Community; 

2 daughters:  Edwina Lyons and Shannon Fisher and husband, Rick, all of Scottsville, KY; 

1 sister:  Valoise Ives, Scottsville, KY; 

1 sister-in-law:  Lavece Smith, Scottsville, KY; 

6 grandchildren:  Mitch Lyons, Alex Lyons, Dr. Eric Fisher (Brittany), Shelby Fisher, Wesley Fisher, Kaylee Cox (Dillon); 

2 great grandsons:  James Fisher and Jackson Fisher; 

1 niece:  Mary Ann Brown, Scottsville, KY; 

1 nephew:  Howard Ives, White House, TN.

He was preceded in death by 1 brother:  Willard T Smith; 1 niece:  Denise Smith; his companion of 30 years:  Rose Riggs; 1 brother-in-law:  Fred Ives. 

Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Kimble Willoughby officiating and burial in Allen County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 3:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Monday at Goad Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy to the Leukemia Society. Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
