Wayne Spencer

Wayne Spencer, 94, of Scottsville, KY passed away Friday, April 29, 2022 at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, TN.  The Scottsville, KY native was a farmer, member of Cedar Cross Missionary Baptist Church and a son of the late Lewis Davison Spencer and Ruth Ellen Wood Spencer and husband of the late Carol Wayne Buchanon Spencer.

He is survived by 1 son: Lester Spencer and wife, Debbie, Scottsville, KY;

1 sister: Barbara Rayburn, Scottsville, KY;

1 sister-in-law: Clarine Petty Taylor, Scottsville, KY;

1 grandson: Thomas Spencer;

2 step grandchildren: Allison Wheeler  and husband, Nick and Adam Lee and fiancee', Marccia Hunter;

4 step great grandchildren: Harper Wheeler, Nora Wheeler, Marcus Lee and Jordan Lee and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by 2 infant sons: Wayne Spencer, Jr. and Jeffery Spencer; 4 brothers: Carl, Neal, Charles and Read Spencer and 2 sisters: Clara Eaton and Mayme Kirk.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Patrick officiating and burial in Cedar Cross Cemetery.  Visitation will be 2:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Monday and after 7:00 A.M. Tuesday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.
