Virginia "Ginny" (Steenbergen) Doss

Virginia "Ginny" Doss, 84, of Scottsville, KY passed away Saturday, August 23, 2025 at the Medical Center at Scottsville.  The Scottsville, KY native was a retired employee of American Greetings.  She was a daughter of the late Clifton Reed Steenbergen and Sally Irene Fisher Steenbergen and wife of the late Joe Lewis Doss. 

She is survived by one son:  Tommy Doss and wife, Marcy, Scottsville, KY; 

One daughter:  Carolyn Sue Crowder and husband, Mark, Lafayette, TN; 

One step daughter:  Sharon Bland and husband, Colin, Warrington, England;

One sister:  Eunice Foley, Indianapolis, IN; 

Four grandchildren:  Ashley Crowder Pedigo (Ethan), Lake Doss (Madison), Sheena Doss and Miley Doss; 

One unborn great granddaughter; 

One step granddaughter:  Louise Foot (Ian);

Two step great grandchildren:  Emily Foot and Grace Foot.

She was preceded in death by two brothers:  Harold Reed Steenbergen and Kenneth Steenbergen and one sister:  Audrey Graham. 

Funeral service will be 12:00 p.m. Wednesday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Harper officiating and burial in the Underwood Cemetery.  Visitation will be 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and after 7:00 a.m. Wednesday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.  Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Underwood Cemetery.  Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
