Valerie Bennington Obituary
Valerie Jean Bennington, 79, of Scottsville, KY passed away Sunday, April 5, 2026, at Cal Turner Rehab & Specialty Care. She was born in Massilin, OH to the late Wilson Boss and Virginia Holmes Boss. She was a retired registered nurse having worked in Ohio, Florida and Tennessee. She loved camping, fishing and being outdoors.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years: Charles "Chuck" Bennington, Scottsville, KY;
1 son: Ed Bennington, Scottsville, KY;
3 daughters: Alice Huff and husband, Michael, Adolphus, KY; Mary Graham and Patricia Ashby and husband, James Dean, all of Waynesburg, OH;
13 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson.
There will be no visitation or funeral service at this time but burial will be at a later date in Ohio. Cremation was chosen and Goad Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
