Tommy McAfee Hughes

Tommy McAfee Hughes, 72, of Scottsville, KY passed away Thursday, October 17, 2024 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green.  He was born in Louisville, KY to the late Woodrow House Hughes, Sr. and Louise Cole McAfee Hughes.  Tommy was a  1970 graduate of Allen County High School, farmer and enjoyed working with his cattle.  He was a former employee of G. E., A. O. Smith and Country Oven Bakery and member of Gallatin Road Church of Christ.  

He is survived by his wife:  Ann Reeves Hughes, Scottsville, KY; 

1 son:  Andrew Hughes and wife, Natalie, Bowling Green, KY; 

2 daughters:  Natalie Dancer and husband, David, Bowling Green, KY and Lisa Autry and husband, Kevin, Alvaton, KY; 

1 brother:  Woodrow "Woody" Hughes, Jr. and wife, Vicki, Austin, TX; 

4 grandchildren:  Makayla and Ethan Autry and Justina and Bennett Hughes. 

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Frank Vondracek and Bro. James Fox  officiating and burial in Crescent Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday and after 7:00 a.m. Friday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.
