Ted Barton Norris

Ted Barton Norris, 88, of Glasgow, KY passed away peacefully to his eternal home under the loving care of his wife, daughter and T. J. Samson Hospice at his home on his beloved Barren River Lake Wednesday, March 12, 2025.  The Glasgow, KY native was a former employee of FMC, Hill's Science Diet and Sears Department Store.  He was originally from Marrowbone, KY, a graduate of Marrowbone High School and member of Scottsville Church of Christ.  Ted enjoyed lake life on Dale Hollow and Barren River Lakes.  He was a son of the late Clifton Barton Norris and Virginia Olive Morris Norris. 

He is survived by his wife of 66 1/2 years:  Betty Lee Butler Norris, Glasgow, KY; 

1 daughter:  Lisa Barton Norris Milby and husband, Terrell, Glasgow, KY; 

6 grandchildren:  Seth Milby, Codie Ogle, Savannah Milby Piper (Adam), Ian Milby, Isaac Milby and Herson Boch;

1 great granddaughter:  Rayne Lynn Ogle;

1 brother-in-law:  Douglas Butler, Waterview, KY; 

1 sister-in-law:  Margaret Radford Norris, Lexington, KY; 

1 nephew:  Bill Butler, Radcliff, KY; 

A special cousin:  Judy Norris Fredrick, Burkesvlle, KY. 

He was preceded in death by a daughter:  Lynn Lee Ogle and husband, Archie II; a grandson:  Wilford Archie Ogle III; 1 brother:  Duane Norris; 1 sister-in-law: Laura Lee Butler and 3 nephews:  Jonathan Norris, Brent Norris and Randy Butler. 

Memorial service will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, March 29, 2025 at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Randy Wells officiating.  Visitation will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 29, 2025 until service time at Goad Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to T.J. Samson Hospice. Donations maybe made at Goad Funeral Home.
