Stevie J. "Big Daddy" Heath

Stevie J. "Big Daddy" Heath, 68, of Bowling Green, KY, and formerly of Scottsville, passed away Saturday, October 21, 2023 at Tri-Star Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN.  The Scottsville, KY native was the owner and operator of Hobdy, Dye & Read, Inc. with stores in Scottsville, Bowling Green, Hardinsburg, Columbia and Cave City.  Steve was saved as a young boy at the age of 17 and was a former member of the Southern Kentucky Street Rod Club.  He was a son of the late Arnold J. Heath and Virginia Frances Blankenship Heath. 

He is survived by his wife:  Pam Heath, Bowling Green, KY; 

1 son:  Cody Heath and wife, Jaclyn, Alvaton, KY; 

2 daughters:  Leslie Sledge and husband, Jeff,  Smiths Grove, KY and Holly Henry and husband, David, Bowling Green, KY;

1 brother:  Larry Heath and wife, Pam, Scottsville, KY; 

8 grandchildren:  Ella and Heath Sledge; Logan, Luke and Zoey Henry; Elsie, Milly and Alice Heath. 

Funeral service will be 12:00 p.m. Friday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Patrick officiating  and burial in Crescent Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday and after 7:00 a.m. Friday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.  Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to St. Jude's or the Samaritan's Purse.  Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
