Steve Howell

Steve Howell, 60, of Scottsville, KY passed away Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at his residence.  He was born in Lake Station, IN to the late Charles Douglas Howell and Novel Louise Letson Howell.  He was a Gulf War Navy veteran having served 18 1/2 years.  He also enjoyed weight lifting and reading horror themed books.

He is survived by his wife:  Barbara Walker Howell, Scottsville, KY; 

1 son:  James "Dusty" Howell, Scottsville, KY; 

2 daughters:  Vanessa Guisto and husband, Derek, Auburn, Maine and Kelly Howell, Bowling Green, KY; 

1 sister:  Samantha Stiers and husband, Brad, Scottsville, KY; 

3 grandchildren:  Forest and River Kilbreth and Beckett Guisto. 

Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Friday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Donnie Feltner  officiating and burial in Red Hill General Baptist Church Cemetery.  Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. Friday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations for funeral expenses.  Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
