Steve Charlton, 67, of Adolphus, KY passed away Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green. The Adolphus, KY native was a retired employee of Fleetwood Homes, a farmer and electrician, and member of River of Life where he served as deacon and treasurer. He was a son of the late James Roy Charlton and Lillie Marie Anderson Charlton.
He is survived by his wife: Mary Colson Charlton, Adolphus, KY;
3 sons: Chad Charlton and wife, Jessica, and Michael Charlton and wife, Wendy, all of Adolphus, KY and Bobby Robison, Smithville, TN;
1 daughter: Karen Tolbert, DeFuniak Springs, FL;
1 sister: Deloyce Meador, Scottsville, KY;
2 brothers-in-law: Eugene Harper, Scottsville, KY and Murl Hughes, Adolphus, KY;
10 grandchildren: Blake Charlton, Marlee Charlton, Cole Charlton, Jordan Charlton, Justin Charlton, Emma Charlton, Olivia Charlton, Rylea Stinson, Khloe Simmons and Kane Simmons;
Several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his first wife: Martha Hudson Charlton; 2 brothers: Ralph Charlton and Joe Charlton; 3 sisters: Sherlie Harper, Carolyn Hughes and Nina Rhodes.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Todd Bullington and Bro. Gary Wayne Brown officiating and burial in Oak Forest No. 1 Cemetery. Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday and after 8:00 a.m. Sunday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.
