Stacey E'Lois Jones

Stacey E'Lois Jones, 63, of Elizabethtown, NC passed away Friday, May 31, 2024 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, NC.  Stacey was a former CNA II and a daughter of the late Bobby Ray Jones and Margie Jean Mills Jones. 

She is survived by 1 son:  James Crawford Johnson, III, Elizabethtown, NC; 

1 daughter:  Crystal Jean Johnson, Fayetteville, NC; 

2 sisters:  Bobbie Jean Meares, White Lake, NC and Brenda Groeschen and husband, Danny, Kings Mountain, KY; 

10 grandchildren:  Camden Carter, Tre Johnson, Kayden Johnson, Zander Johnson, Nathan and Bella Ventura and Tyler, Gloria, Sebastain and Stacey Lynn Gomez; 

4 great grandchildren:  Royce Ventura, Samuel Smith, Layla Gomez and Ezekial Barahona-Gomez; 

Nieces and nephews:  Mike and Tracey Keiffer and Mark Jones, all of Bowling Green, KY; Lucas Jones, Franklin, TN; 

Kristy and Tony Hall, Roseboro, NC; Anthony and Shannon Meares, Garland, NC; Heather and Michael Wind, Crestwood, KY and Daniel and Leslie Groeschen, Mason, OH;

Her ex-husband:  James Crawford "Jimbo" Johnson, Jr., Elizabethtown, NC. 

She was preceded in death by a brother:  Michael Ray Jones. 

Memorial service will be 4:00 p.m. Monday, June 17, 2024 at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Roy Shockley officiating and burial in New Bethel Baptist Cemetery.  Visitation will be after 3:00 p.m. until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.
