Skylar Asbury Martin Graves

Skylar Asbury Martin Graves, 11, of Scottsville, KY passed away Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at Monroe Carrell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt.  The Glasgow, KY native was a student at Allen County Intermediate Center, Little League Football Player and member of New Gospel Outreach Church.  

He is survived by his mother:  Elizabeth Graves, Scottsville, KY; 

His father: John Johnson;

Maternal grandmother:  Martha Kinslow, Scottsville, KY;

Maternal grandfather:  Timmy Graves and wife, Barbara, Scottsville, KY; 

Paternal grandmother:  Susanna Lowery, Adolphus, KY; 

2 brothers:  Joseph Alan Johnson and John Vincent Martin Johnson, Jr., both of Bowling Green, KY; 

2 sisters:  Kyra Lyndzey Elizabeth Graves and Ariana Kyleigh Izabella Graves, both of Scottsville, KY; 

2 paternal aunts:  Faith Mercer and husband, Chris, Bowling Green, KY and Alicia Huff and husband, Gene, Scottsville, KY; 

1 maternal uncle:  Gary Graves and wife, Kim, Scottsville, KY; 

4 paternal uncles:  Jonathan Carter and wife, Heather; James Carter an fiancee', Stefanie Herrington; David Carter and wife, Donna and Coy Carter, all of Scottsville, KY; 

A maternal aunt:  Amanda Disman, Scottsville, KY. 

A celebration of life will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Stephen Bratcher and Bro. Todd Bullington officiating and burial in Union Chapel Cemetery.  Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Saturday and after 8:00 a.m. Sunday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.  Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations for funeral expenses.  Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
