Shirley Shaw Obituary
Shirley Lou Shaw, 79, of Edmonton, KY passed away Wednesday, November 19, 2025 surrounded by her family at her residence. The Edmonton, KY native was a former CNA and attended Foundation Church. She was a daughter of the late Glen Curtis Blaydes and Cora Elizabeth Hurt Jennings and wife of the late Raymond Shaw, Jr.
She is survived by 2 sons: Chris Shaw and wife, April and Daniel Shaw, all of Edmonton, KY;
1 daughter: Michelle Gillentine and husband, Danny, Glasgow, KY;
Special friend: Grant Sacra, Edmonton, KY;
2 sisters: Sue Melson and husband, Estill, MO and Cathy Walker and husband, Tony, Edmonton, KY;
1 granddaughter: Madison Gillentine, Nashville, TN and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her step father: Owen Jennings.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date. Cremation was chosen and Goad Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to American Kidney Association, National Kidney Association or American Cancer Society.
