Sherry (Perry) Newport

Sherry Perry Smith Clowers Newport, 58, of Adolphus, KY passed away Monday, September 12, 2022 at her residence.  The Franklin, KY native was a retired employee of Dollar General Corporation and a daughter of the late Willie Neal Perry and Martha May Cline Perry and wife of the late Charles Kerry Newport.

She is survived by 3 sons: Jeremy Smith (Kristina), Germany; Chris Smith (Christina), Scottsville, KY and Dakotah Clowers, Adolphus, KY;

1 daughter: Dana Clowers (Jamie Wagner), Adolphus, KY;

2 step sons: Michael Newport and Matthew Newport;

1 step daughter: Tiffany Massingale;

2 sisters: Charlotte Carver (Gary), Scottsville, KY and Willie Denise Calvert, Adolphus, KY;

7 grandchildren: Ruby, Jack, Adalyn, Isiah, Elena, Layla, Addyson and 1 unborn grandchild.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, September 23, 2022 at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Patrick officiating and cremation to follow.  Visitation will be 12:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Thursday and after 7:00 A.M. Friday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations for funeral expenses.  Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
