Sheila (Woods) Dozier

Sheila Dozier, 55, of Alvaton, KY passed away Friday, July 26, 2019 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, KY.  The Scottsville, KY native was a homemaker and attended New Hope Full Gospel Church.  She was a daughter of the late Lewie Dee Woods and Jerald Ann Barnard Woods.

She is survived by her husband: Jackie Dozier, Alvaton, KY;

2 daughters: Kyla Staple and husband, Shawn and Katie Dozier, all of Alvaton, KY;

2 brothers: Todd Woods and wife, Angela, Portland, TN; Steve Woods, MI;

4 sisters: Bettie Anderson and husband, Danny, Hopkinsville, KY; Sebrina Woods Rayas, MI; Linda Smith, Scottsville, KY and Brenda Perry, Glasgow, KY;

1 grandson: Beckett Staple and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by grandparents: Joe and Beatrice "Granny" Barnard and Raymond and Lily Woods and 2 aunts: Linda Gail Barnard and Betty Woods Miller.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. David Hughes and Bro. Lynn Herrington officiating and burial in Allen County Memorial Gardens.  Visitation will be 10:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday and after 7:00 A.M. Wednesday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.
