Sharon Kay (Sears) Thompson

Sharon Kay Thompson, 71, of Scottsville, KY passed away Saturday, April 15, 2023 at her residence.  The Rochelle, IL native was a homemaker and a daughter of the late Oliver Paul Sears and Lena Mary Frye Sears. 

She is survived by 3 sons:  Timothy Lee Thompson and wife, Shelli, and Jeffrey Dale Thompson and wife, Susie, all of Scottsville, KY; Michael Aaron Thompson, TX; 

1 brother:  Brian Sears and wife, Margo, IN; 

1 sister:  Patricia Woodard, Rockford, IL; 

9 grandchildren:  Timothy Lee Thompson, Jr. (Shelby), Jonathan Thompson, Austin Thompson (Blair), Nathaniel Paul Thompson (Cheyenne), Brandon William Thompson, Lucas Thompson, Tyler Thompson, Jack Thompson and Katie Thompson; 

5 great grandchildren:  Autumn, April, Arya, Ethan and Aurora. 

Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Gary Emberton officiating and burial in Allen County Memorial Gardens.  Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.
