Shannon "Stick" Hurt

Shannon "Stick" Hurt, 57, of Bowling Green, KY passed away Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green.  The Scottsville, KY native was a farmer and member of Mt. Union General Baptist Church.  He was a son of the late Randall Eugene Hurt and Ann Wix Hurt Durrett, who survives. 

He is survived by 1 son:  Cody Hurt and his mother, Melissa, both of Scottsville, KY; 

His mother:  Ann Hurt Durrett, Scottsville, KY; 

1 sister:  Tracy Ward and husband, Taylor, Scottsville, KY; 

His companion:  Lori Hatler, Scottsville, KY; 

1 nephew:  Chase Ward and wife, Macayla, Scottsville, KY; 

1 niece:  Mattie Ward Cooper and husband, Nick, Scottsville, KY. 

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Patrick and Bro. Nick Gregory officiating and burial in Mt. Union Cemetery.  Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and after 7:00 a.m. until funeral time Wednesday at Goad Funeral Home.
