Shannon Lee Buchholz

Shannon Lee Buchholz, 52, of Bismarck, ND passed away Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at his residence.  He was born on November 23, 1968 in Fargo, ND to Alfred Buchholz and Lynda Nelson.  As a child, he lived in Fargo, Casselton, Kindred, Buffalo and Bismarck, ND.  Shannon married Becky Jean Dusenberry on March 8, 1996 in Bowling Green, KY.  In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, gardening and being with his family. 

He is survived by his loving wife:  Becky Buchholz, Bowling Green, KY; 

1 son:  Zack Buchholz, Bowling Green, KY;

His father:  Alfred Buchholz, Bismarck, ND; 

His mother:  Lynda Hass and husband, William, Bowling Green, KY;

3 step sons:  Jeffery Prewitt, Matthew Prewitt and Brian Prewitt, all of KY; 

2 sisters:  Stacy Vincent, Bismarck, ND and Stefanie Jorgensen, Scottsville, KY; 

2 brothers:  B. J. Hass and Brandon Hass, both of KY; 

Several nieces, nephews, cousins and lifelong good friend, Stacy Bauer. 

Shannon was preceded in death by his son:  Christopher Allen Buchholz; paternal grandparents:  Alfred A. Sr. and Emillie Heger Buchholz and maternal grandparents:  Severn and Beulah Alderman Nelson. 

A graveside service was Saturday, June 26, 2021 at Crescent Hill Cemetery.
