Sammy Holder

Sammy Holder, 64, of Scottsville, KY passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at his residence.  The Scottsville, KY native was a former employee of Linda's Furniture and attended Open Door Outreach Church.  He was a son of the late Willie C. Holder and Eloise D. Mansfield Holder. 

He is survived by 2 brothers:  Gordon Holder and Jeff Holder, both of Scottsville, KY; 

2 sisters:  Linda Kay Simmons and Brenda Thomas and husband, Jerry, all of Scottsville, KY; 

Several nieces, nephews and cousins. 

He was preceded in death by 4 brothers:  Randy, Gary, Wilburn and Billy Holder; 1 sister:  Nancy Jane Holder. 

Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Friday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Roy Shockley officiating and burial in Beech Grove Cemetery.  Visitation will be after 9:00 a.m. Friday at Goad Funeral Home.   Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations for funeral expenses.  Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
