Ruth Rippy Keen, 76, of Adolphus, KY passed away Friday, November 1, 2019 at her residence. The Adolphus, KY native was a homemaker, former employee of Franklin Laundry and Cleaners, former owner and operator of Classic Cleaners, loved cooking and sharing her food with friends and family, member of Stony Point United Methodist Church and Stony Point VFD Ladies' Auxiliary. She was a daughter of the late Ernest Roy Rippy and Mary Lucille Mason Rippy and wife of the late James Leon Keen.
She is survived by 1 sister: Jewell Jones and husband, Jerry, Franklin, KY;
5 sisters-in-law: Hazel Parker and husband, Wayne, Margie Long and husband, Grover, and Peggy Eaton, all of Adolphus, KY; Wilma Keen and Novice Keen, both of Scottsville, KY;
1 brother-in-law: Arlie Keen, Adolphus, KY;
Several cousins.
Funeral service will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Michael Landers officiating and burial in Walker's Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and after 7:00 a.m. until funeral time Wednesday at Goad Funeral Home.
