Royce Eagle Murley

Royce Eagle Murley, 75, of Scottsville, KY passed away Monday, May 9, 2022 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green.  The Elbow, KY native was a retired employee of Dollar General Corporation, farmer, self-employee lawn mower repairman and member of Clifton General Baptist Church.  He was a son of the late John Stanley Murley and Hazel Mae Cleary Murley and husband of the late Mary Lou Brown Murley. 

He is survived by his daughter:  Jennifer Ford and husband, Jeremy, Scottsville, KY; 

3 brothers:  Ricky Murley and wife, Kathy, Lucas, KY; Bobby Murley and wife, Linda, Fountain Run, KY; Jerry Murley and wife, Estelene, Gamaliel, KY; 

1 sister:  Carolyn Settle, Fountain Run, KY; 

2 grandsons:  Corbin Eagle Ford and Cohen Louis Ford; 

2 sisters-in-law:  Betty Murley and Linda Murley, both of Fountain Run, KY; 

Several nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by 3 brothers:  James Murley (Edna Mae), Leonard Murley and Floyd Murley and 2 sisters:  Mary Curtis (Delano) and Susie Firkins. 

Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Donnie Lawrence officiating and burial in Allen County Memorial Gardens.  Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and after 7:00 a.m. until funeral time Wednesday at Goad Funeral Home.
