Rose (Cox) Lawrence

Rose Lawrence, 75, of Scottsville, KY passed away Friday, May 17, 2024 at Cal Turner Rehab & Specialty Care.  She was born in Alexandria, IN to the late Olan O. Cox and Lena Mae Young Cox.  She was a retired secretary for Secrest & Secrest Law Firm and attended River of Life Church. 

She is survived by her husband:  Bro. Fielding Lawrence, Scottsville, KY; 

2 sons:  Anthony Ritter and wife, Brenda, Scottsville, KY and Billy Lawrence, Clarksville, TN; 

1 daughter:  Angie Martin, Lebanon, TN; 

1 sister:  Doris Gardner, Cole City, IN; 

5 grandchildren:  Suzanne Mooney (Andrew), Lance Martin (Jessica), Kala Ritter, Gracie Ritter and Dana Caudle; 

7 great grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by 7 brothers and sisters. 

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Todd Bullington officiating and burial in the Family Cemetery in Barren County.  Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday and after 7:00 a.m. Tuesday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.
