Ronald Warren Orange, 76, of Scottsville, KY passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at his residence. The Atlanta, GA native was a retired manager of Schwan’s Enterprises, a Viet Nam Navy veteran, assistant chief of the Halifax VFD, former member of Black Mudd VFD and a WWII Civil War Reenactor. He was a son of the late Warren Turner Orange and Nora Mae Campbell Clemerson.
He is survived by his wife: Susan Orange, Setauket, NY;
1 son: Jason Orange and wife, Teresa, Shepherdsville, KY;
1 daughter: Julie Dunnavan and husband, Ricky, Louisville, KY;
2 step sons: Kristoffer Thulke and wife, Milena, Lake Grove, NY and Nicholas Thulke, Farmingdale, NY;
1 step daughter: Erin Fish and husband, Jacob, Setauket, NY;
2 brothers: Jerry Orange and wife, Vicki, Fort Myers, FL and Richard Madison and wife, Nancy, Lafayette, IN;
1 sister: Sonya Martin, Port Charlotte, FL;
8 grandchildren: Ricky Dunnavan III (Megan), Travis Dunnavan (Meredith), Jalen Dunnavan and Noah Dunnavan; Anthony Brown (Megan), Kelli Richard (Will), Taylor Elsler (Tyler) and Megan Spriggs (Tyler);
6 Great Grandchildren: Nolan Dunnavan, Noah Elsler, Mason Elsler, Jace Elliott, Christian Richard and Bailey Brown;
3 step grandchildren: Catherine Fish, Colleen Thulke and Sara Thulke.
He was preceded in death by twin sons: Troy and Travis Orange.
A celebration of life will be held at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, December 1, 2022 at Church of the Harvest with Pastor Ricky Dunnavan and Pastor Jason Orange officiating. Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 1, 2022, at Church of the Harvest. Cremation was chosen and Goad Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
