Roger Dale Meador

Roger Dale Meador, 73, of Scottsville, KY passed away Monday, June 6, 2022 at Hospice House of Southern Kentucky.  The Scottsville, KY native was a retired employee of the City of Scottsville and a member of New Bethel United Methodist Church.  He was a son of the late James William Meador and Mary Tessie Lonas Carver. 

He is survived by his wife:  Kathy Meador, Scottsville, KY; 

2 sons:  James "Booger" Meador (Crystal) and John W. Meador (Robbie), all of Scottsville, KY; 

1 daughter:  Chrissy Meador, Scottville, KY; 

4 brothers:  Robert Meador (Denise), Allen Meador (Ann) and Richard Meador (Rachel), all of Scottsville, KY and Jimmy Meador, Holland, KY; 

2 sisters:  Margie Barnes (Kenneth), Madison, TN and Darlene Coffee (Ricky), Scottsville, KY; 

7 grandchildren:  LaTosha Sanspree (Josh), Christian Brown, Patty Ann West (Josh), Josh Meador (Mandy),, Johnna Meador, Rachel Uhls (Luke) and Brittany Meador; 

20 great grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by a grandson:  J. W. Meador; 1 sister:  Wandalene Meador; 1 brother:  Ricky Neal Meador; 2 nephews:  Michael Allen Meador and Brian Meador; 1 niece:  Nickie Meador; a sister-in-law:  Sherry Meador; paternal grandparents:  Bob and Lizzie Meador and maternal grandparents:  Doc and Ester Lonas. 

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Pearson officiating and burial in New Bethel Methodist Church Cemetery.  Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and after 7:00 a.m. Wednesday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.  Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Hospice of Southern Kentucky.  Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
