Roger "Rod" Fisher

Roger "Rod" Fisher, 80, of Scottsville, KY passed away Thursday, September 4, 2024 at the Hospice House in Bowling Green.  The Scottsville, KY native was a farmer, retired bus driver for the Allen County School System and member of Cedar Cross Missionary Baptist Church.  Rod loved hunting and fishing.  He was a son of the late Claude Fisher and Lois Lemorn Ashford Fisher.  

He is survived by 2 brothers:  Jerry Fisher and Marlin Fisher and wife, Judy, all of Scottsville, KY; 

1 sister-in-law:  Linda Fisher, Scottsville, KY; 

1 nephew:  Ricky Fisher and wife, Shannon, Scottsville, KY; 

2 nieces:  Sheila Spurlock and husband, Shannon, and Monica Prock and husband, Shane, all of Scottsville, KY; 

Several great nieces and great nephews. 

He was preceded in death by a brother:  Charlie Thomas Fisher. 

Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Crescent Hill Cemetery with Bro. Mike Harper officiating.  Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. at Goad Funeral Home.
