Obituary
Robert Jesse Lyvers, 75, of Oakland, KY passed away Friday, May 12, 2023 at the Hospice House of Southern KY. The Louisville, KY native was a retired fishing guide at Lake Okeechobee and a U. S. Navy veteran. He was a son of the late James Albert Lyvers and Cora Rachael Long Lyvers and husband of the late Linda Darlene Powell Lyvers.
He is survived by 2 sons: William Jones, Oakland, KY and Jesse Ray Lyvers, FL;
1 daughter: Katie Lyvers Kennison (Adam), Scottsville, KY;
2 sisters: Joyce Milner, Louisville, KY and Linda Hettinger, Shelbyville, KY;
3 grandchildren: Aiden Cole Kennison, Scarlett Willow Kennison, Raven Elise Kennison.
He was preceded in death by 2 brothers: James Murrell Lyvers and Gerald Cobert Lyvers.
A memorial service will be held at a later date with entombment in Resthaven Memorial Cemetery in Louisville, KY. Cremation was chosen and Goad Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
