Robert Dale Evans

Robert Dale Evans, 84, of Pekin, IL passed away Monday, September 24, 2018 at Graham Hospital in Canton, IL.  The Pekin, IL native was a retired singer/entertainer, Baptist and U. S. Navy and Air Force veteran.  He was a son of the late Walter Clarence "Doll" Evans and Joe Inez Wheat Jones and husband of the late Sally Barstow Evans. 

He is survived by 2 sons:  Bruce Colin Evans and wife, Tracy, Alto, MI and Troy Dale Evans, Pekin, IL; 

1 brother:  Michael Walter (Mike) Evans and wife, Peggy, Manito, IL; 

3 sisters:  Norma Lou Stein and husband, Wesley, Menifee, CA; Sandra Lee Shults and husband, Ron, and Sherry Lynn Evans, all of Pekin, IL; 

11 grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by 1 son:  Faron Brice Evans; 1 daughter:  Denise Kay Evans and 1 sister:  Wanda Kay Haulk and husband, Howard.

Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Sunday and Goad Funeral Home with Jiggs Bewley officiating and burial in the Woods Cemetery with military honors by Ft. Campbell.  Visitation will be after 9:30 a.m. Sunday at Goad Funeral Home.
