Robert Campbell Obituary

On February 3, 2026, Robert Henry Campbell, aged 75, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and loved ones in Greenville, South Carolina. Born on June 11, 1950, in Nashville, Tennessee, Robert was the devoted husband of LaDonna Campbell, and proud and loving father to Shawn Campbell and Cameron Campbell.

Robert lived a life defined by dedication—to his profession, his community, and above all, his family. He graduated from Central High School (Nashville, TN) in 1969, earned his undergraduate degree from Belmont University, and obtained his Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Tennessee Medical Units in Memphis, where he served as President of the Medical Units student body until his graduation in 1975. He spent nearly 40 years as a trusted and compassionate pharmacist in Kentucky and was a respected pillar of the Scottsville community. In 2011, after losing his vision, Robert and LaDonna moved to Greenville, South Carolina, to be closer to family and his beloved grandchildren.

Robert was known for his wisdom, resilience, calm and steady presence, and unwavering faith. He was a history enthusiast, an avid fan of western films, and a dedicated mentor to many. He will be remembered as an honorable, kind, and humble man whose legacy of love, selflessness, and service will live on through the countless lives he impacted and inspired.

He is survived in death by his wife, LaDonna Campbell; son, Shawn Campbell (Emily Campbell); daughter, Cameron Campbell (Marie Hegler); grandchildren, Cailey, Hunter, and Landon Campbell; brother, Charles Campbell (Poppy Campbell); cousins, Deborah Harris, Joshua Larkin, and Tamara Ingram; mother-in-law, Frances Law; sister-in-law, LaVonna Willoughby; and nephew, Bucky Creeger.

He is preceded in death by his grandson, James Robert Campbell; nephew, Lance Fielder; father-in-law, Arnold Law; and parents, John Henry and Dorothy Campbell.
