Robert Clay "Yogi" Calvert, 65, of Scottsville, KY passed away Thursday, September 18, 2025 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green. He was born in Elwood, IN to the late Jesse Clay Calvert and Betty Irene Howe Russell. He was a former truck driver.
He is survived by 1 son: Tony Calvert and wife, Rachel, Adolphus, KY;
2 step sons: Chris Perry, Rupert, Idaho and Kenneth Ray Perry, Jr., Scottsville, KY;
2 step daughters: Angela Marie Perry and Lavena Michelle Perry, both of Scottsville, KY;
2 brothers: Bobby Clay Calvert and wife, Robbie, Portland, TN and Clayton Calvert, Scottsville, KY;
1 sister: Mary Ladd and husband, Jr., Scottsville, KY;
15 step grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by 2 sons: Jesse Clay Calvert and Charlie Craigmyle.
A graveside service will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 26, 2025 at Allen County Memorial Gardens with Bro. Russell Mills officiating. Cremation was chosen and Goad Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations for funeral expenses. Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
