Rickey Murray

Rickey Murray, 57, of Scottsville, KY passed away Saturday, September 2, 2023 at Cal Turner Rehab & Specialty Care.  The Bowling Green, KY native was a truck driver, former employee of Sumitomo and Brownfield Dairy Farm, attended East End General Baptist Church and a member of the U.S. Army National Guard.  He was a son of the late John Marvin "Johnny" Murray, Jr. and Elizabeth Mae Hughes Murray.

He is survived by 1 son: John Eric Murray, Scottsville, KY;

1 daughter: Callie Ann Elizabeth Cardwell, Scottsville, KY;

The children's mother:  Donetta Logsdon, Scottsville, KY; 

3 brothers: Timothy Joe Murray and wife, Laura, Franklin, KY; Jared Lynn Murray and wife, Aubrey, Edinberg, TX; Jason Dean Murray and wife, Amanda, Bowling Green, KY;

3 sisters: Kimberly Frances Tomes and husband, Rob, Glasgow, KY; Joanie Lynn Ford and husband, Daniel, and Lindsay Jameson and husband, Weston, all of Scottsville, KY;

1 granddaughter: Charlotte Elizabeth Cardwell.

Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Harper officiating and burial in Pleasant Hill Cemetery with military honors by Glasgow D.A.V. Chapter 20. Visitation will be after 10:00 A.M. Tuesday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations for funeral expenses.
