Rickey Joe Anderson

Rickey Joe Anderson, 63, of Scottsville, KY passed away Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at the Medical Center at Scottsville.  The Scottsville, KY native was a carpenter and a son of the late Paul Anderson and Lorene Helen Stinson Anderson. 

He is survived by 1 son:  Lanny Cantrell, Jr. (Melinda), Westmoreland, TN; 

1 daughter:  Bonita Scruggs (Toby), Westmoreland, TN; 

2 brothers:  Jimmy Anderson (Donna) and Mickey Anderson, all of Scottsville, KY; 

5 sisters:  Leslie Nichols (Marco), Lawton, OK; Patty Blok (Fritz), Bowling Green, KY; Lisa Martin (Roger), Karen Carver (David) and Kathy Anderson, all of Scottsville, KY; 

A special niece:  Crystal Stanger (Brad), Adolphus, KY. 

Several grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by a daughter:  Juanita Cantrell; a sister:  Sue Sullivan and 2 brothers:  J. C. Anderson and Ronnie Anderson. 

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Chris Calvert officiating and burial in Crescent Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be after 10:00 a.m. Saturday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations for funeral expenses.  Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
