Richard D. Meador, 65, of Scottsville, KY passed away Sunday at his residence. The Scottsville, KY native was a former employee of Allen County Transfer Station and a son of the late James William Meador and Tessie Mary D. Lonas Meador Carver.
He is survived by his wife: Rachel Key Meador, Scottsville, KY;
6 sons: William Meador, Billy Meador, Richie Meador (Crystal); Robert Key (Ashley) and Eric Key, all of Scottsville, KY; Tim Key (Smeria), Tompkinsville, KY;
1 daughter: Nichole Key, Scottsville, KY;
3 brothers: Clessie Allen Meador and Jimmy Meador, both of Scottsville, KY; Robert Meador (Denise), Glasgow, KY;
2 sisters: Margie Barnes (Kenneth), Madison, TN; Darlene Coffee (Ricky), Scottsville, KY;
1 sister-in-law: Kathy Meador, Scottsville, KY;
18 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by step father: Maxwell Carver; 1 sister: Wanda Meador; 2 brothers: Roger Meador and Ricky Meador; 2 sisters-in-law: Sherry Meador and Ann Meador.
Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Dakota Woodcock officiating and burial in Bandy Graveyard. Visitation will be after 10:00 A.M. Wednesday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations for funeral expenses. Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
