Richard Buchanan, 63, of Scottsville, KY passed away Monday, January 13, 2025 at his residence. The Gallatin, TN native was a former construction worker and a son of the late Bobby Lee Buchanan and Faye Driver Buchanan.
He is survived by 1 son: Joe Buchanan, Scottsville, KY;
1 sister: Connie Woodard, Lafayette, TN;
2 grandchildren: Austin Buchanan and Aaliyah Buchanan;
3 nieces: Cassie Anderson, Christy Jones and Jessica Moss;
7 great nieces and great nephews: Alexis Anderson, Bentley Anderson and B. Anderson; Katie Jones and Johnny Jones; Michael Moss and Brayden Moss.
He was preceded in death by 1 brother: Bobby Buchanan, Jr.
Memorial services will be held at a later date. Cremation was chosen and Goad Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations for funeral expenses. Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
