Rex Rigdon Obituary
Rex Rigdon, 82, of Scottsville, KY passed away Saturday, June 14, 2025 at Gallatin Center for Rehab & Healing in Gallatin, TN. The Scottsville, KY native was a former truck driver, a U.S. Marine and Air Force veteran and member of Clifton General Baptist Church. He was a son of the late Gene Rigdon and Dorothy Josephine Cassaday Rigdon and husband of the late Frances LaFern Gibson Rigdon.
He is survived by 1 daughter: Alexandria Rigdon, Scottsville, KY;
1 brother: Kenneth Rigdon and wife, Debbie, Shepherdsville, KY;
Several step children, step great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by 1 brother: L.D. Rigdon and 1 sister: Shirley Grace.
Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Jon Wesley Kirby officiating and burial in Clifton Cemetery with military honors by Glasgow D.A.V. Chapter 20. Visitation will be after 10:00 A.M. Tuesday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.
