Remington James Matlock, 26, of Scottsville, KY passed away Sunday, April 26, 2026 as result of injuries from a motorcycle accident. The Scottsville, KY native was a employee of Halton and a 2018 graduate of Allen County-Scottsville High School.
He is survived by his parents: Phillip and Ranee Matlock, Scottsville, KY;
2 sisters: Rylie Tristan Matlock and Allie Ladava Matlock, both of Scottsville, KY;
His maternal grandmother: Georgia Bennett, Grand Haven, MI;
Several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: James Robert and Ladava Ann Stinson Matlock and maternal grandfather: Christopher Charles Bennett.
Visitation will be 12:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. Saturday at Rough Creek Missionary Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to St. Jude. Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
