Rebecca Sue Tooley, 81, of Scottsville, KY passed away Tuesday, Decemeber 17, 2024 as results of injuries from an automobile accident. The Roseville, KY native was a retired employee of Holley Carburetor, former co-owner of Tooley's Bar B Que in Scottsville, a 4-H volunteer and U.K. Extension Office, a member of Gallatin Road Church of Christ since 1976, where she served as a former Sunday school teacher. She was a daughter of the late Hackney Kinza Bridges and Mary Ella Douglas Bridges.
She is survived by her husband: Roger Lee Tooley, Scottsville, KY;
3 sons: Robert Lewis Tooley, Scottsville, KY; Rondel Loyd Tooley, Yakima, WA and Tyrus Potrafke (April), Fountain Run, KY;
1 daughter: Carla Anita Ray Tooley, Scottsville, KY;
1 daughter-in-law: Susan Comer Tooley, Christiana, TN;
14 grandchildren: Aaron Seth Tooley, Jacinta Michelle Turner, Natasha Lee-Ann Tooley, Gemini Lee Tooley, Tyberius Lorin Tooley, Josiah Lincoln Tooley, Jackie Ray George, Jr., Taidje Amar Shirley, Zayden D'Jai Shirley, Averick Cole Potrafke, Zytius Kane Potrafke, Jazelea Jynx Potrafke, Vallista Jade Potrafke and Willavaina Arum Potrafke;
She was preceded in death by 1 son: Richard Lorin Tooley; 3 sisters: Theresa Lewis, Sarah Porter Covil and Frances Vidalia Bridges and 1 granddaughter: Celestria Lane Potrafke.
Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, January 4, 2025 at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. James Hahn and Bro. James Fox officiating and burial in Fountain Run Church of Christ Cemetery. Visitation will be 10:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M. Friday, January 3, 2025 and after 7:00 A.M. Saturday, January 4, 2025 until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to 4-H. Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
