Ray Lamb, 64, of Scottsville, KY passed away Sunday, February 9, 2025 at his residence. He was born in Front Royal, VA to the late Paul Walker Lamb and Elizabeth Ann Williams Lamb. He was a retired employee of Grafton School in Winchester, VA, a U. S. Army veteran and an artisan, master craftsman and animal husbandman.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years: Judy Lamb, Scottsville, KY;
2 sons: David Powell and wife, Amelia, Washington, GA and Michael Powell and wife, Kristi, Pflugerville, TX;
4 brothers: Paul Lamb, Jr. and wife, Geneva, Rileyville, VA; Bill Lamb and wife, Ellen, White Post, VA; Dean Lamb and wife, Kandi, Linden, VA and David Lamb, Front Royal, VA;
4 grandchildren: Haley Widmann (Timmy), Heather Glover, Nathan Powell and Ryan Powell;
3 great grandchildren: Bella Widmann, Carla Widmann and Sophia Widmann.
He was preceded in death by a granddaughter: Rachael Powell.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Cremation was chosen and Goad Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
