Randall "Randy" Bensley Obituary

Randall "Randy" Bensley, 65, of Scottsville, KY passed away Sunday, August 29, 2021 at Cal Turner Rehab & Specialty Care.  The Manchester, Iowa native was a former mechanic, former truck driver and member of Brothers of the Third Wheel.  He was a son of the late Paul Richard Bensley and Joan Marie Warner Bensley.

 

He is survived by 2 sons: Jason Boots, Earlville, IA; Jeremy Hempstead (Erica), Manchester, IA;

4 daughters: Tonia Takser-Blazek (Jenny), Hiawatha, IA; JoAnn Carver (Steve) and Elizabeth Berry (Matthew), all of Scottsville, KY; Melissa Biggs (Travis), Adolphus, KY;

3 sisters: Vicky Mettler (Doug), Hopkinton, IA; Debbie Bensley, Cassville, WI; Robin Ledesma (Joe), Milwaukee, WI;

17 grandchildren: Levi Boots, Billy Boots, Nichole Carver, Katie Tasker, Kaylea Biggs, Hailie Boots, Kaitlin Ziegenfuss, Kelsey Boots, Jesse Hempstead, Claira Berry, Morgan Boots, Zoe Boots, Collin Hempstead, Kaleb Boots, Brooklyn Biggs, Tatum Carver and Addyson Berry;

 2 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by 1 daughter: Jessie Hempstead; 1 brother: Carl Bensley and 1 sister: Paula Wilkerson.

 

Graveside services will be held at a later date at Oakland Cemetery in Manchester, Iowa.  Cremation was chosen and Goad Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
