Rachel Cherry-Amos

Rachel Cherry-Amos, 57, of Scottsville, KY passed away Friday, August 23, 2024 at U of L Health-Heart Hospital in Louisville, KY.  The Greencastle, IN native was a homemaker and daughter of the late Franklin Carlyle Cherry, Sr. and Alice Mae Waters Cherry. 

She is survived by her husband:  Danny Amos, Scottsville, KY; 

1 daughter:  Nora Mae Cleveland (Cory), Bowling Green, KY; 

1 step son:  Kevin Patrick Amos, NC; 

2 sisters:  Katherine Page, Scottsville, KY and Tena Harper, Bowling Green, KY; 

1 grandson:  Chance Joshua "Funny Honey" Cleveland; 

3 nieces:  Tara Harper, Jerrica Cherry and JoAnna Stricklin; 

3 nephews, 3 great nieces and 1 great nephews and 

Many friends. 

She was preceded in death by a brother:  Franklin Cherry, Jr. and a niece:  Mary Alice Page. 

A memorial service will be held at a later date.  Cremation was chosen and Goad Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.  Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations for funeral expenses.  Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
