Phillis Blankenship Obituary
Phillis Jones Blankenship, 80, of Scottsville, KY passed away Saturday, March 16, 2024 at Hospice House in Bowling Green, KY. The Scottsville, KY native was a homemaker, former employee of K-Mart and Apex and member of Berean Baptist Church. She was a daughter of the late Everett Houston Jones and Era J. Cline Jones and wife of the late Helous Ray Blankenship.
She is survived by 2 daughters: Robin Esser and husband, Steven, Adolphus, KY; Kim Gehring and husband, Hank, Indianapolis, IN;
1 brother: Phillip Jones and wife, Janet, Indianapolis, IN;
1 sister: Melbena Owens, Scottsville, KY;
9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by 2 sons: Kevin Blankenship and Ray Blankenship; 1 daughter: Schevonna Featherston; 2 sisters: Rebecca Owens and Dixie Hurt and 1 brother: Paul D. Jones.
Graveside service will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at Crescent Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 10:00 A.M. until 1:45 P.M. Wednesday at Goad Funeral Home.
