Obituary
Phillip Edward Steel, 80, of Adolphus, KY passed away Sunday, August 13, 2023 at his residence. The Fort Wayne, Indiana native was a retired employee of Union Pacific Railroad, a U.S. Army veteran and a Methodist. He was a son of the late Joseph G. Steel and Bonnie Jean DePew Steel.
He is survived by a son: Larry Steel, Kendallville, IN;
2 sisters: Judy Newville (Bob), Fort Wayne, IN and Paula Johns, Eatonton, GA;
His companion: Judy Cox, Scottsville, KY;
5 grandchildren: Seth Coleman, Zach Coleman, Samantha Steel, Derek Steel and Tabitha Steel.
8 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by 1 daughter: Bonnie Steel.
There will be no visitation or funeral services. Cremation was chosen. Goad Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
