Peggy Stamps Gardner, 73, of Scottsville, KY passed away Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at the Hospice House of Southern Kentucky. The Scottsville, KY native was a homemaker, former employee of Kirsch Company, Holland Industries and Kentucky Apparel and member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church. She was a daughter of the Claude Brown Stamps and Viola May Watkins Stamps and wife of the late Larry Joe Gardner.
She is survived by 1 son: Wesley Joe Gardner and wife, Tania, Scottsville, KY;
3 brothers: Rex Stamps and Phil Stamps and wife, Rose, all of Tipton, IN; Randy Stamps and wife, Kay, Scottsville, KY;
1 granddaughter: Kayde Gardner;
1 great grandson: Kase Rager;
Several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by 2 sisters: Louise Gaddis and Martha Douglas.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Richard Lyles and Bro. Tim Meador officiating and burial in Crescent Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11:00 a.m. Saturday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Hospice of Southern Kentucky.
