Patty (McIntyre) Oliver

Patty McIntyre Oliver, 91, of Scottsville, KY passed away Thursday, January 23, 2025 at the Hospice House in Bowling Green, KY.  She was born in Fountain Run, KY to the late Samuel Edward McIntyre and Sally Ann Temple McIntyre.  She was a homemaker and mother, 1951 graduate of Allen County High School, former employee of Dollar General and member of Scottsville Baptist Church.  

She is survived by 2 sons:  Michael Oliver, Laurel, DE and Ed Oliver and wife, Lois, Bowling Green, KY;

1 daughter:  Rebecca Oliver Garcia and husband, Tony, Scottsville, KY; 

6 grandchildren:  Jeffrey Oliver ( Melanie), Kaitlin Callaway (Sean), Erin Brennan (Bill), Kristin Lewallen (John), Jessica Mains (Scott) and Alison Heggstrom (Hobie); 

3 step grandchildren:  Rita Baxter, Linda Beach (Stewart) and Sandra Cardwell (Mike) and families; 

14 great grandchildren:  Cullen Oliver, Morgan Oliver, Brody Callaway, Jack Callaway, Ava Callaway, Colton Brennan, Tanner Brennan, Liam Haffey, Sarah Haffey, Penn Mains, Langston Mains, Emerson Mains, Blake Heggstrom and Mason Heggstrom. 

She was preceded in death by her husband:  Carleen Oliver; and infant daughter:  Carla Jean Oliver; a granddaughter:  Amber Oliver; 5 brothers and six sisters. 

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 1, 2025 at Goad Funeral Home with Ken Vinson officiating and burial in Crescent Hill Cemetery.   Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday and after 9:00 a.m. Saturday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.  Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Hospice of Southern Kentucky.  Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
