Pansy Mae Powell, 76, of Scottsville, KY passed away Sunday, August 18, 2024 at Cal Turner Rehab and Specialty Care. The Scottsville, KY native was a homemaker, former employee of Cal Turner Rehab and Specialty Care and attended Shiloh Church. She was a daughter of the late Henry Bennett Cornwell and Margie Odell Sledge Cornwell.
She is survived by 3 sons: Jeff Powell (Penny); Jody Powell (Sandy) and Jerry Powell (Pat), all of Scottsville, KY;
1 daughter: Tina Taylor, Scottsville, KY;
1 brother: Mikey Cornwell (Cathy), Scottsville, KY;
13 grandchildren: Dustin, Brandy, James Ray, Jeffrey Allen, Zachary, Jodi, Michael, Josh, Katelyn Kimberly, Shelley, Brianna and Brad;
Several great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by 2 sons: Johnny Powell and Jimmy Powell; 2 grandchildren: Jeremy Powell and Jonathan Powell; 1 great grandchild: Aidin Sellers; 6 sisters: Joyce Plumlee, Barbara Norman, Wilma West, Martina Lucas, Ida McGuffey and Linda Faye Cornwell; 5 brothers: S.B. Cornwell, William Henry Cornwell, Ronnie Cornwell, Timmy Cornwell and Buck Cornwell.
Funeral service will be 12:Noon Wednesday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Lynn Herrington and Bro. Bob Kubasch officiating and burial in Shiloh Cemetery. Visitation will be 3:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday and after 7:00 A.M. Wednesday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.
