Pamela (Bray) Carrier

Pamela Bray Carrier, 66, of Knoxville, TN passed away Thursday, August 17, 2023 at her residence.  The Indianapolis, Indiana native was a former housekeeper for Beech Grove Meadows, she was a loving mother and grandmother.  She was a daughter of the late Rev. Edward Benton Bray and Annie Mae Simmons Bray and wife of the late Gary Dean Carrier.

She is survived by 3 sons: Larry Cornett (James Cardwell), Knoxville, TN; Justin Witt, Indianapolis, IN and Jason Witt, Greenwood, IN;

2 brothers: Ronnie Bray (Patty), Greenwood, IN and Merle Bray (Dorothy), Indianapolis, IN;

2 sisters: Teresa Booher (Brent) and Shirley Plummer, all of Indianapolis, IN;

5 grandchildren: Brandon Higgins, Brenden Witt, Aubrey Witt, Jayla Witt and Kaylee Witt;

3 great grandchildren: Aiden Higgins, Mila Higgins and Joshua Higgins, Jr.

She was preceded in death by a daughter: Sandra Cornett; 2 grandchildren: Nicholas Davidson and Joshua Higgins; 2 brothers: Larry Bray and Billy Bray and 2 sisters: Vickie Bray and Joyce Bray.

Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Monday at Goad Funeral Home with Peggy Light officiating and burial in Underwood Cemetery.  Visitation will be after 10:00 A.M. Monday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations for funeral expenses.  Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
