Norman Eugene Rippy

Norman Eugene Rippy, 79, of Scottsville, KY passed away Thursday, July 29, 2021 at the Medical Center at Scottsville.  The Scottsville, KY native was a retired farmer, retired custodian and bus driver for the Sumner County School System, member of Robert's Tabernacle Church of God of Prophecy and attended East Willow Street Church of God.   He was the son of the late Norman Estell Rippy and Freadia Violet Graves Rippy. 

He is survived by his wife of 57 years:  Charlotte Rippy, Scottsville, KY; 

1 daughter:  Lesa Cross and husband, Martin, Westmoreland, TN; 

4 grandchildren:  Jacob Durham and wife, Chelsea; Lucas Durham, Ryan Cross and Brent Cross and wife, Madeline; 

Several cousins. 

He was preceded in death by a son:  Tracy Rippy. 

Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Patrick and Bro. Terry Bear officiating and burial in Robert's Tabernacle Cemetery.   Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday and after 11:00 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at Goad Funeral Home.
