Myrtle Jewell (Young) Pearson

Myrtle Jewell Pearson, 89, of Scottsville, KY passed away Friday, April 5, 2024 at the Medical Center at Franklin.  The Crossville, TN native was a retired employee of Bell South.  She was a daughter of the late John Henderson Young and Bessie Turner Young and wife of the late Carroll Dean Pearson. 

She is survived by 2 sons:  Richard Pearson (Jody), Apple Creek, OH and Tommy Pearson (Jamie), Scottsville, KY; 

4 grandchildren:  Thomas Wayne Victory; Ryan Pearson (Stephanie) and Kenton Pearson (Mallory), all of Dalton, OH and Leah Rohrbaugh (Justin), Kidron, OH; 

4 great grandchildren:  Caroline and Collin Pearson and Alex and Hadrian Rohrbaugh. 

She was preceded in death by 2 sisters:  Shirley Ruth Young and Mattie May Young; 5 brothers:  Bill Young, Jim Young, Lonnie Young, Edward Young and Gene Young. 

Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Patrick officiating and burial in Crescent Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be after 10:00 a.m. until funeral time Thursday at Goad Funeral Home.
