Myra Lois Chandler, 80, of Scottsville, KY passed away Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at her residence. The Scottsville, KY native was a former employee of Washington Overall Manufacturing, retired employee of General Electric and A. O. Smith and member of Rough Creek Missionary Baptist Church. She was a daughter of the late Rollie Eldridge Keen and Amanda Effie Blankenship Keen and wife of the late James Murl Chandler.
She is survived by 1 son: Jeffery Edward Chandler, Scottsville, KY;
1 daughter: Shelnessa Murlene Taylor and husband, Phillip, Gainesboro, TN;
6 grandchildren: Amanda Nicole Chandler, James Cody Chandler, Megan LaShae Howell (Gage), Elizabeth Shyann Bradley, Damien), Dustin Allen Chandler (Katelyn) and James Calvin Cole (Ashley);
Several great grandchildren;
1 sister-in-law: Carolyen Keen, Scottsville, KY.
She was preceded in death by 5 sisters: Infants Edna and Linda Keen, Margie Davis, Wanda Keen and Nina Chandler; 3 brothers: Lowell Keen, Roger Keen and Eldridge Keen.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 2, 2025 at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. John Mark Williams officiating and burial in Mt. Union Methodist Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday and after 8:00 a.m. Sunday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.
